How much does it cost to attend?
It’s FREE! Plus there is free parking.
Location
Kent Event Centre, Kent Showground, Detling, Maidstone, Kent, ME14 3JF.

The exhibition and conference take place in the Maidstone Hall and John Hendry Pavilion.

Parking
There is ample, free parking available onsite.
Registration
The registration desk opens at 9.00am and will remain open throughout the event, enabling you to attend all day or just pop along for any part of the day.
Opening Times:
The Networking Breakfast: 8.00am
Registration & Exhibition Opens: 9.00am
Workshops begin at 10.25am
Exhibition Closes: 4.00pm
Drinks Reception & Gala Dinner: 4.00pm onwards
Conference Programme
Pre-registered attendees will be able to register for sessions ahead of the event. A personalised link will be emailed about 3 weeks prior to the event date. Don’t worry if you can’t decide (it is a great programme!) as many sessions are available on the day.
Exhibition Area
Kent Construction EXPO attracts over 180 essential suppliers and potential partners from Kent and beyond, offering a comprehensive range of products and services from local sources. Click here to see who is signed up to exhibit in 2025. To make it easier to find the exact provider you are looking for, we have introduced a helpful logo filtering feature.
Additionally, Kent Construction EXPO features several demonstration areas within the exhibition. Here you can explore key areas of interest and gain further information, guidance, and inspiration for your business.
The Exhibition Area will open at 9.00am and be open throughout the event.
Meet the Buyer
If you have booked any Meet the Buyer appointments, please remember to check in an hour before your first appointment. Failure in doing so may result in the organiser cancelling your appointment and assigning the time slot to another attendee.

Badges
Your badge barcode and QR code may be scanned throughout the day, including when you attend a conference session and by exhibitors in the exhibition area. (do you need to say what happens to the data?) – It is on the registration form/ badge form so no need.

Navigating the EXPO
To help you find your way around the EXPO, please follow the floor stickers throughout the venue. The event layout schematic on the inside cover will guide you to the main areas, while the back of the guide provides a list of exhibitors and their locations.
Seminar Rooms
This year we have two new seminar rooms located in marquees and accessible via the John Hendry Pavilion. Many of the sessions have extra time built in so that you can network with the speakers and attendees after the session.
Refreshments/Catering
Tea and coffee will be available throughout the day free of charge. Lunch can be purchased onsite with hot and cold options, along with snacks available.
Please note: All onsite catering accept cash and cards payments, however, to speed up service we recommend bringing cash too. There are no ATMs onsite.

First Aid
The first aid point is situated in the organiser’s office, within the John Hendry Pavilion.
Toilets
There are toilets situated in the John Hendry Pavilion, please follow the floor sticker signage.
Seminar headphones
The Bid Better Seminar room will use wireless headphones to prevent noise disturbance from the exhibition area.
Breathing Space
We have a dedicated quiet space available for those who may need it for medical reasons, prayer, or personal reflection. This space is designed to provide a calm and private environment for your comfort and well-being. Please ask any event staff member for directions to the quiet spaces. Please note that this area is not intended for phone calls or working.
Taxi Companies
Maidstone-based taxi companies include: Streamline 01622 750000; Sapphire Cabs 01622 663000; Angels Express 01622 201020. When booking, please request to meet at the registration area of the Maidstone Hall.
Leaving Feedback
We will email you a link to the online feedback form after the event, on completion you will receive a link to the available presentation slides. Please do let us know what we do well, what we can improve and any suggestions to make the event even better next year.
Attending the Drinks Reception and Gala Dinner?
This year we have changing rooms available in the Clive Emson building, please follow the directional signage, these will be open from 4pm.
