Regimental Operations Officer, 1 Royal School of Military Engineer Regiment

Jo began her career in the British Army aged 16 at Welbeck Defence Sixth Form College. She went on to study a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Design Engineering at Aston University. In her final year project she assisted the MOD with the development of body armour for female and small stature soldiers. On completion, Jo attended the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst to complete the Regular Commissioning Course and then commissioned into the Corps of Royal Engineers.

Jo is the Regimental Operations Officer at 1 Royal School of Military Engineer Regiment in Chatham, a phase 2/3 military engineering school.
