Dan Hollis

Apex Contractors

About the Speaker:

Dan is a passionate construction leader with 25+ years of experience developed through a career working for main contractors and clients in commercial, preconstruction and strategic roles.

A quantity surveyor by trade, he spent 18+ years working for tier 1 main contractors before moving to client-side/consultancy roles from 2015 to 2022. He has worked across all major sectors, and has experience in delivering schemes from education to new built hospitals, heavy civils and residential, as well as hotels and town centre redevelopments.

Recent experiences have centred heavily on preconstruction, contractor work-winning, frameworks and the Construction Playbook, but his career has been built on whole project lifecycle from delivery through to in-use. He is a huge advocate of integrated project delivery teams and collaborative procurement models which derive the greatest benefit to all parties and maximise client value.

He started working with Apex Contractors in 2022 to lead the business in the next stage of their development, helping them to modernise and expand into target markets.
