About the Speaker:
Mark regularly leads the promotion of major residential developments through the planning system. Stemming from a background working for PLC housebuilders, Mark has developed particular expertise in residential schemes across the South East.

What’s the future of the planning system in England? |
Local planning experts DHA review the current challenges and opportunities in the planning system. The session will discuss the latest Government proposals for further changes, such as increased use of the permitted development regime and other potential changes to national planning policy.
We will explore how changes in the political makeup of southeast local authorities is affecting decision-making, including the significant increase in application fees due to come into force next year. The group will also review the introduction of Biodiversity Net Gain requirements and how this may affect different types of development sites going forward.
