Hosted by HMRC, this session will look at what the next stage of Making Tax Digital means for the construction industry. Making Tax Digital (MTD) for Income Tax is a new way to report income from self-employment and property to HMRC. It will be introduced in phases from April 2026. MTD is being phased in in 3 stages dependent on your income from your business, property, or a combination of both. We will provide an overview of MTD, how to prepare for MTD, and how you can sign up ready for possible mandation from April 2026.
