Huda Lohiya

Huda Lohiya is a civil engineer and sustainability advisor at Tensar, promoting value-engineered solutions and “conscious design”—a framework centered on resource efficiency, circularity, and transparency. She delivers CPDs on value engineering using Tensar geosynthetics and advises on behavioural and supply chain strategies to reduce carbon emissions and support cost-effective, resource efficient construction. Her work integrates intersectional thinking and spans international research, including studies in Kenya and South Africa, focused on sustainable, inclusive solutions.
Following her Sustainable Development masters in The Netherlands, Huda is committed to continuous learning for efficient design. She advocates for collaborative approaches to net zero, emphasising the importance of inclusive solutions considering environmental needs.
