Jack Gilbey
Jack Gilbey is a Spatial Operations Lead and UAS Pilot at Cloudcam UAV, specialising in the use of drone technology, reality capture and spatial data across construction and complex operational environments.
Working on projects throughout the UK, Jack has experience delivering drone based surveying, LiDAR, photogrammetry, digital twins and visual data capture, helping organisations better understand, monitor and manage their sites and assets.
His work focuses on bridging the gap between emerging technology and practical on-site application, exploring how drones, AI and advanced data capture can improve efficiency, safety and decision making across the built environment.
Alongside his commercial UAS experience, Jack is also developing his wider aviation expertise through fixed wing flight training, bringing a strong operational and aviation focused perspective to the adoption of new technologies within construction.
