I am a Legal Director and Solicitor-Advocate in the Litigation, Advisory & Regulatory (Criminal and Compliance) team at Bevan Brittan and work in the Birmingham office. I am ranked in Legal 500 a a Next Generation Partner.

I specialise in health and safety and regulatory law and advise on a wide range of regulatory legal issues including health and safety, building safety, fire safety, product liability, food safety and transport law. I represent clients (both companies and individuals / directors) at inquests, PACE interviews and in relation to prosecutions by the HSE (following both fatal and non-fatal accidents) and thus have experience in the Crown Court, the Magistrates Court and the Coroners Court.

I provide clients with advice on a wide variety of issues and have provided support on various corporate transactions. I act for a mixture of clients, from large multi-national organisations to individuals, across a wide range of industries, including housing, local authority, higher education, waste, construction, manufacturing and care. I also carry out a large amount of training for clients and their directors.

I am a solicitor-advocate with higher rights of audience (criminal) and so can represent clients in all levels of criminal court. I have a Masters degree in Safety, Health and Environmental Law, for which I was awarded a distinction. I am a Management Committee member of the Birmingham Health, Safety & Environment Association (BHSEA) and a governor at a local junior school.
