Nicholas Lee Evans
LEP Partner in charge of the Heritage Studio in the practice, Nick, studied at The Bartlett and
University College London, joining the practice in 1983. His career reflects a deep passion for design and conservation, particularly in historical buildings. Nick’s projects focus on the ‘Architecture of Community,’ addressing the challenges of creating flexible spaces that evolve with community needs while preserving and adapting historic structures for future generations. Nick also has expertise in the
sustainable regeneration of historic buildings and was a member of the EU Expert Panel. He is the author of the RIBA publication ‘An Introduction to Architectural Conservation: Philosophy, Legislation and Practice. He is currently working including historic forts, hotels, churches and theatres.
