Shane has over 17 years’ experience of supporting young people and adults to overcome barriers to employment. His career spans a range of settings, including the Youth Justice Estate, universities, secondary schools, and post-16 education, where he has consistently championed inclusive opportunities for all.

In his current role as Employer Engagement Lead within the Supported Employment Service, Shane works closely with employers across Kent to support their recruitment needs while promoting inclusive, diverse, and disability-confident workplaces.

Shane has a strong track record of supporting schools and post-16 providers to build purposeful partnerships with local employers. By connecting education with industry, he helps to create meaningful opportunities that raise aspirations, develop employability skills, and prepare young people for the world of work.
