Tom is Gravesham Borough Council’s interim Director (Environment), responsible for the council’s planning and operational services.

Since joining Gravesham in late 2021, Tom has played a key role in progressing the council’s Corporate Plan regeneration and Inclusive Growth ambitions.

An architect by profession, Tom trained at the Manchester School of Architecture and the Bartlett, University College London. He is a member of the ARB and RIBA. Prior to joining Gravesham, he worked for an AJ 100 firm on award-winning housing projects and mixed-use regeneration projects in London and across the Southeast. He is a regular contributor to panels/conferences, most recently at the Thames Estuary Conference in 2022 and the Brownfield Regeneration Conference in 2023.
